Application solution
PET Preform Elevator, Orientation and Feeding Solution
A front-end feeding solution for blow-molding lines that lifts, buffers, checks orientation, reorients and transfers PET preforms to the receiving fixture.
Solution overview
Production requirements
Loose PET preforms must reach the downstream blow-molding fixture in a repeatable orientation and transfer sequence. The system organizes this material flow before the blow-molding process.
Process
- 01
Lift preforms from the upstream loading area.
- 02
Convey and buffer preforms for the next handling step.
- 03
Check preform orientation.
- 04
Correct orientation when the preform is not in the required direction.
- 05
Transfer preforms into the receiving fixture.
- 06
Pick, lift, traverse and place preforms at the downstream blow-molding fixture position.

Configuration details
- The downstream blow-molding machine's own controls and process parameters are outside this solution page.
- Final fixture, position and timing settings depend on the preform and the installed production line.
- Throughput depends on the final configuration and sample trial.
Questions
Frequently asked questions
Is this machine available as a standard model?
The material-flow concept is reusable, but fixtures, positions and interfaces must be checked against the PET preform and the installed blow-molding line.
What changes when a preform specification changes?
Check the receiving fixture, conveyor alignment, push-in depth, orientation endpoints, pickup position and downstream placement path before trial operation.
Can the system be connected to an existing blow-molding line?
Integration can be evaluated after the downstream fixture position, available space, line rhythm and interface conditions are provided.
